NOTICE
•
A network hub is recommended for commissioning with the "LAN connection"
variant. The network hub enables the simultaneous connection of C_BOX and ser-
vice PC for coupling with the control board ZM (central module) at the X13 port.
•
Alternatively, the RJ45 socket X12 "External" can be used on the control board ZM
(central module), if not assigned.
•
If a network socket of the control board is connected to the house network, the
C_BOX can also be connected to the test bench via the house network.
•
If no DHCP server reports in the connected network (e.g. house network) for 30
seconds, the C_BOX starts its own DHCP server, assigns itself the IP 192.168.204.1
and distributes IP addresses in the connected network.
11.4.6
Coupling with the brake tester
1
Call up the website of the test bench (e.g. http://maha-mbt.maha).
2
Call up the Service technician menu (click on the gearwheel in the MAHA logo).
3
Select the "External devices" menu item.
o
There all reachable C_BOXes in the network are displayed including status
(connected, busy, coupling active, free).
o
Each C_BOX has a unique ID that is displayed on the built-in ePaper display of
the C_BOX.
4
Activate the coupling of the test bench by pressing the "Couple device" button.
o
A green field appears with the remaining time in which the test bench is still in
coupling mode.
o
After the countdown has elapsed or when you exit the menu, the pairing is
terminated.
