Before removing the serial port module, remove the top cover. See “Remove the top cover” on page 56.
To remove the serial port module, complete the following steps:

Step 1. Disconnect the cable of the serial port module from the system board.
Step 2. Open the retention latch and remove the serial port module from the chassis.
