To ensure a proper sectioning result, the clamping top
must be securely clamped onto
the segment arc
The clamping is carried out using an eccentric lever
. The clamping force is adjusted
with the setscrew
on the underside of the segment arc. The setting of the clamping is
carried out so that the clamping lever can be rotated to the stop with constantly increasing resistance.
Adjust the clamping with a 2.5 mm Allen key at the setscrew
"slips" when the lever is activated. Continue turning the setscrew
a little bit (approx. 1/4
turn to the left or right) then check that the lever no longer "slips", but also does not jam "heavily".

To set the clamping distance from the eccentric bolt to 270 °, do the following steps.
1. Place the knife holder base
on the instrument base.
2. Adjust by screwing or unscrewing the countersunk screw
piece in the base using the Allen key No. 3
can be clamped at 0 ° position
and 270 ° position
