6 | Function description
Working with the HR 600/2 unit
To add a user:
ü To add a user:
a) Click on the [Create new user] button.
b) Enter a name into the entry field [Username].
ð It is differentiated between capital and small letters.
c) Enter a password to the [Password] input field.
ð The password is not shown when it is entered but displayed in a coded way
(******).
d) Optional: enter an explanatory text into the [Info to user] input field.
e) Select a group in the drop-down menu [Usergroup]. You can choose among
[Standard user], [Power user] and [Administrator].
ð This selected group of users will be later integrated and provided with the
appropriate rights.
f) Enable the checkbox [Lock user], when the user is to be blocked. Then the user
will not be allowed to login any more.
g) The [Show process documentation] checkbox enables the display of the op-
tional information file (e.g. PDF file) that was linked with the profile. With re-
spect to this, please read the chapter [Entering information into the [Image and
document] tab [

h) Enable the checkbox [Activate auto archive for user] when the processes recor-
ded by the user are to be automatically archived.
i) Click on the [Save settings] button.
ð The user is created and appears in the [List of actual users] window. After
closing the [User administration] window, a directory is created with the
user name in the [Library] window. With regard to this, please read the
chapter [The work area [Profile library] [
} 75]].
j) Click on the [Close] button.

The process has now been completed.
[Usergroup] (authorisation levels):
Log-in as [Administrator]: No limitations.
Log-in as [Power user]: As [Administrator], the [Extras] menu bar is limited to the
[Options] and [Open help] buttons. In the [Placement] menu bar, the [Top camera],
[Bottom camera] and [Pixel to step] buttons are however not visible.
Log in as [Standard user]: As [Power user], the [Extras] menu bar is however hid-
den. In the [Placement] menu bar, the [Move to position] button is hidden. Profiles
cannot be edited.
