6.5.1.2 Creating a user
You can lock or unlock individual sections of the machine control system for a cer-
tain group of people. To this purpose, the dialog box [User administration] is used.
There are three levels of user rights:
– [Standard user] with few rights (for instance, it is not possible to change solder-
ing profiles and the [Extras] tab is hidden)
– [Power user] with extended rights (for instance, some buttons in the [Extras]
tab) are visible and
– [Administrator] with full rights (for instance, the [Extras] tab is completely vis-
ible, and it is possible to calibrate cameras).
To be able to use the user right management, you must log in as [Administrator]
and the [User administration] must be enabled. Otherwise, the user administration
will not be visible and no log-in window for entering a password will appear when
the program starts. With regard to this, please read Chapter Setting the language
and user control panel.

To open the [User administration] dialog:
a) Activate the tab [Extras] in the menu bar.
