Maintenance work to be performed daily
h) Remove the pipette from the heating head; see the picture on the right. If ne-
cessary, use a gripping tool, e.g. tweezers.
i) Clean the whole pipette. Use a flux remover or rubbing alcohol recommended
by the flux manufacturer. Apply a lint-free cloth or cleansing paper to a brush
and clean.
j) Wipe dry with a dry, lint-free cloth.
k) When the pipette is dry again, put it back into its holder. Align the pipette in
the holder in such a way that the opening of the thickened pipette top snaps
into place.
l) Reposition the heating head in the reverse order of removal, and screw it back
on to the Rework System. As soon as possible, check whether the pipette runs
smoothly.
m)If the pipette still does not run smoothly, repeat the cleaning process.
n) Reconnect the pneumatic hose.
o) Screw on the pipette tip again.
p) Use the main switch to turn on the Rework System.
q) Start the HRSoft program.
ð
