Maintenance work to be performed daily
b) Check whether the vacuum filter of the air supply of the pipette is discoloured
or clogged. If this is the case, replace the vacuum filter. For more information,
please refer to the following Chapter Checking the vacuum filter of the pipette
air supply and replacing it [
160].
c) Unscrew the heating head. To do this, loosen the two screws with a 7 mm
open-end wrench; see the picture on the left. Put down the heating head.
d) Unscrew the steel sheet of the heating head cover. To do so, loosen the four
screws; see the picture on the right.
e) Leave the cable with which the cover plate is connected to a heating head.
f) Using a 17 mm open-end wrench: unscrew the cover of the pipette.
g) Unscrew the pipette tip; see the picture on the left.
