h) Leave the protective conductor cable attached to the heating head cover.
In a different series of HR 600 rework systems, the cover of the pipette should not
be opened with an Allen key, but with an open-end wrench. You will see this look-
ing inside through the grid above the heating head. In this case, carry out the activ-
ities described below under “Removing the heating head and cleaning the pipette.”
a) Using an 8 mm Allen key, unscrew the cover of the pipette.
b) Unscrew the pipette tip; see the picture on the left.
