Seat belt
Pull the seat belt (1) out of the belt retractor, wrap it around your
waist and latch it in the buckle (3).
Make sure the seat belt is fastened tightly and the retractor is
engaged.
To release the seat belt, press the red button on the buckle and
slowly guide the belt back into the belt retractor.
Field of view
When the operator is sitting in the driver’s seat, the field of view is partially impaired by the machine as some areas
are obscured. It is important to be familiar with and understand the visibility conditions when operating the ma-
chine. Within the machine’s immediate radius of action, this helps to detect hazards that may cause accidents ear-
ly on and thus prevent them.
The illustration shows the field of view and the areas that are not vis-
ible. The field of view varies from operator to operator and depend-
ing on the position of the seat.
1.
Field of view within a radius of 12 m
2.
Field of view in the immediate area
3.
Indirect field of view (visible using mirrors)
4.
Obscured areas
Take a seat in the operator’s seat and adjust the seat (page 90).
Check obscured areas (4) and indirect field of view (3) shown in the illustration from the seated position.
In order to familiarise yourself with the obscured areas, check the field of view (1 and 2) for a clear line of sight.
Risk of accidents!
Operating the machine without wearing the seat belt is
prohibited!
The belt buckle is equipped with a sensor. This sensor
detects whether the seat belt is fastened and whether
the tongue is inserted and latched in the buckle.
If the engine starts and the seat belt is not latched in-
side the buckle, a warning message appears on the
display.
- Only operate the machine with the seat belt fas-
tened.
When removing the seat belt, store the belt straight.
If you store the belt without straightening it, the belt
lock in the belt retractor may not work properly.
