Recheck the crawler tension, readjusting it if necessary.

Perform the procedures on the second crawler.
Crawler tension (steel) - check

Check the crawler sag as shown in the figure.
Crawler sag "A" 80-85 mm

If the crawler sag is more than 85 mm, adjust the crawler.

If necessary, tighten or loosen the crawler.

Start the machine and rotate the lifted crawler briefly.

Recheck the crawler tension, readjusting it if necessary.

Perform the procedures on the second crawler.

Tightening the crawlers

Remove the crawler tensioner cover (3).

Position the grease gun on the grease fitting (1).

Pump the grease gun until the specified crawler tension is ob-
tained.
Loosening the crawlers

Cautiously unscrew the pressure valve (2) and loosen the
crawler.

Screw in the pressure valve and torque to 98-108 Nm.

Tighten the crawler.
Caution: The area around the rotating crawler must be free of persons. Turn the starter switch to the
STOP position after rotating the crawler and remove the key.

Grease could squirt out from the cylinder opening.
