Pilot circuit filter - change

Open the side cover (page 155).

Remove the filter cup (4) from the filter head (1).

Remove the filter element (2) from the filter head.

Install a new filter along with the included new sealing ring (4).

Screw in the filter cup and tighten it by hand.

Start the engine (page 96). Let the engine run at idle speed to
warm up, then stop it (page 99).

Check the hydraulic oil level, add oil if necessary.

Close the side cover.
While changing the pilot circuit filter, be careful not to allow dust or dirt into the pilot circuit filter.
Always remove spilled hydraulic oil immediately.
This service may only be carried out after the hydraulic oil has cooled down.
Dispose of cleaning cloths and the old filter element in
accordance with applicable environmental protection
regulations.
