Field-Replaceable Units on the SRX3400 Services Gateway

Field-replaceable units (FRUs) are services gateway components that can be replaced
at the customer site. The services gateway uses the following types of FRUs:

•

Hot-swappable FRUs—You can remove and replace these components without
powering off the services gateway or disrupting the routing functions.

•

Cold-swap-only FRUs—You must power off the services gateway in order to remove,
replace, or add these components.

Table 20 on page 109

lists the FRUs for the services gateway.
