3.1
Moving the truck without a battery
IMPORTANT
This operation must only be performed by suitably trained maintenance
personnel.
IMPORTANT
This operation is forbidden on slopes and inclines (no brakes).

3.2
Installing/removing or erecting/folding the mast
IMPORTANT
This operation must only be performed by the manufacturer or a customer
service team authorized by the manufacturer.

Commissioning
IMPORTANT
Operate the truck only with battery current. Rectified AC current will damage
the electronic components. The battery leads must be less than 6m/19.7 ft
long.
To prepare the truck after delivery or after transport, proceed as follows:
– If necessaryinstall and charge the battery (see Chapter F, sections “Battery remov-
al and installation“ and “Charge the Battery“).
– Commission the truck as per instructions (see Chapter E, section “Starting up the
truck“).
IMPORTANT
Before using the truck for the first time, check it to ensure the tilt safety device
(26) is present.
IMPORTANT
Attach and fasten the safety restraint belt as soon as you get on the platform
and before starting other work (see section “Attaching the safety restraint
belt“ in chapter E).
IMPORTANT
Check that all safety devices are
present and operational.
