All necessary safety measures must be taken to avoid accidents when carrying out
maintenance and repairs. The following preparations must be made:

Procedure

• Fully lower the load handler.
• Park the truck securely, see page 191.
• Switch off the truck; to do this:

• Turn the key in the key switch (8) to the left as far as the stop and remove the

key.

• Press the red button of the ISM access module (

) twice in a row.

• Press the emergency disconnect switch (9).
• Disconnect the battery connector (33) to prevent the truck from being switched on

accidentally.
