Adjusting the driver’s seat

The procedure for adjusting the driver’s seat applies to standard models. For other
models, follow the manufacturer’s setting instructions. When adjusting, ensure that
all controls are within easy reach.
WARNING!
Risk of accidents and damage to health
An incorrectly adjusted driver’s seat can result in accidents and damage to health.

Do not adjust the driver’s seat while travelling.
u
The driver’s seat should lock in position after adjustment.
u
Check and adjust the individual driver's seat setting before starting up the truck.
u
Hold the weight setting lever only by the recess, do not reach through underneath
the lever.
Adjusting the driver's weight
NOTICE
To achieve optimal seat cushioning the
driver’s seat must be set to the driver’s
weight.
Set the driver's weight when the seat is
unoccupied.
Seat cushioning setting range: 50 kg - 130
kg.
Procedure
• Pull the weight adjustment lever (143) in
the direction of the arrow as far as the stop
and then return it.
The weight setting is set to a minimum value.
• Pull the weight adjustment lever (143) in the arrow direction until you reach the
required weight on the scales.
• Restore the weight adjustment lever (143) to its original position.
The driver’s weight is now set.
