Scale
setting
Sets the scale for display (Grid, Axis, Frame) in the waveform display
area.

Math
setting
Selects one of the following 4 types of trace calculation waveforms
specified with M Source.
Add: Addition
Sub:
Subtraction
Mult: Multiplication
FFT: Displays the FFT calculation waveform.
Selects a trace to be calculated specified with Math.
Add, Sub, or Multi is selected.
CH1&CH2:
Performs the calculation between CH1
waveform and CH2 waveform. SUB means
CH1-CH2.
CH3&CH4:
Performs the calculation between CH3
waveform and CH4 waveform. SUB means
CH3-CH4.
CH1&CH2/CH3&CH4: Displays both CH1&CH2 and CH3&CH4.
FFT is selected.
Sets the menu item to F Source. Select a trace to be calculated from
CH1, CH2, CH3, and CH4.
Sets one of the following 4 display items in the temporary display area.
Counter:
Displays the frequency of a trigger signal.
Date:
Displays the time and date.
Measure: Displays the auto measurement result.
Comment: Displays the edited comment.
Comments can be edited by setting the UTILITIES menu
to Comment through [FUNCTION operation]. (See page
41.)
The status display is erased when CH1/CH2/CH3/CH4 offset is set or
a temporary message is displayed, but can be displayed again by
operating the menu and functions.

Grid:
Displays the grid, which
divides the vertical direction
into eight divisions and the
horizontal direction into ten
divisions.
The unit of this grid is
expressed as 1DIV. Voltage
sensitivity VOLTS/DIV and
sweep time range TIME/DIV
are set using this as the unit.
M Source
setting
Counter measurement
Selecting Counter in Status makes it possible to always measure the frequency
of the input signal selected as the trigger signal source.
The measurement is performed irrespective of waveform acquisition.
