Displays the following comment
menu.
The edited comment is displayed at
the bottom of the screen when
Comment is selected for Status of
the Display menu.
The comment is stored as auxiliary
information with the waveform and
panel setting data, and is recalled
with those data.
Sets the year, month, day, hour, and minute. Seconds are set to zero
when the new setting is set. The date is displayed at the bottom of the
screen when Date is selected for Status of the Display menu.
The date data is used for time display, and also saved as the time stamp
information of captured waveform data.

Self Cal
setting
1. Select the comment edit position by the CH3/CH4 VOLTS/DIV
knob.
2. Select the comment characters by the CH1/CH2 OFFSET knob.
3. Press the CH1/CH2 SELECT button to set the comment characters.
4. Select END in the Utilities menu above and press the FUNCTION
button. The comment is saved.
Press Cancel to cancel the saving.
Performs the selection of the language (Language) for the help message
or temporary display, reverse display of the LCD (LCD), self-calibration
(Self cal), auto-calibration (Auto cal), software version display (System),
and software update (Update).
Performs self-calibration for the vertical axis, offset and trigger. While
self cal is executing, do not apply any signal to CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4
or EXT input.
Auto Cal
setting
When selecting ON, the self-calibration of the offset (2mV/div, 5mV/
div) is performed automatically as the power is turned ON or
corresponding to the ambient temperature.
Update
setting
Used to update the software. For details about how to update the
software, see IWATSU’s home page.
Cautions for use of Auto Cal
• Auto Cal may be failed if a specific signal is input.
• If Auto Cal is failed, perform Self Cal with all input signals disconnected.
