1 - Internal discharge time
Determines how long the equipment keeps the charge ready before discharging it
internally.
2 - Sudden Death Prevention (SDP)
Turn on or off the Sudden Death Prevention mode. When on adhesive pads
or electrodes monitoring, the equipment sets off the alarm and shows “Shock
Indicated” if ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) is identified.
3 - Charge Auto-Sequencing
Sets energy levels for the Auto Seq mode. The user can select energy levels of 10
to 360 J for the first, second and third shocks. Preset values are 150 J for the first
shock and 200 J for the next shocks.
If child pads are used, the equipment limits energy levels to 50 J. When using child
pads followed by use of adult pads, the last values set for adult pads are recovered.
The charge and shock delivery processes are operated manually. After every
delivery, the energy levels are updated.
