Monitor mode - Capnography

121

Capnography monitoring

To start the EtCO

2

 measurement, navigate through the “Configuration Menu – CO

2

” 

– and set the “CO

2

 – On/Off” item to ON.

Right after the start, the EtCO

2

 module performs a procedure called “auto-

zero”, which is necessary for the proper functioning of the equipment. 

During this procedure, no measurements are exerted. 

The CardioMax can monitor EtCO

2

 in intubated or non-intubated patients. To do so, 

you just need to change the following accessories.

Connect the following accessories:

• 

Intubated patient: 

sampling line and “T” connector.

• 

Non-intubated patient: 

sampling line and nasal cannula.
