configuration and monitoring options.

To access drive bays in the left- or right-hand side column, first
release the retention latches by pushing them outwards (as shown in
the figure above), and then swing the forearm handles to the sides.
To close the handles (see the figure below)

swing the forearm
handles towards the center; gently press the handles until a click
sound is heard. The latches will lock the handles in place.

1.3.2 Drive

The subsystem comes with twelve (12) drive trays designed to
accommodate separately purchased standard 1-inch pitch, 3.5-inch
SAS/SATA-II (3Gbps) disk drives. On the drive tray’s front bezel, you
can see two (2) LED indicators, a rotary lock and a release button
(see
the figure above). The LED indicators signify drive status. The
rotary lock prevents the tray’s unintentional ejection, while the
