Messages indicating that the LAN driver, IBMEINWS.LAN,
and the NetWare modules (.NLM files) have been installed.
LEDs on the card show normal operation. (See “The LEDs”
on page A-1.)
You can log on and communicate with the network.

This parameter indicates the frame type to be used by the
LAN driver and network adapter.
Default value: Ethernet_802.2
Valid values: Ethernet_802.2, Ethernet_802.3, Ethernet_II,
Ethernet_SNAP
NODE
Use this parameter to specify a locally administered address
for the EtherJet ISA Adapter. The adapter can be known on
the network by its universally administered address (the
address encoded in the adapter memory at the factory) or a
locally administered address (a unique, user-assigned
address).
The universally administered address appears on a label on
the EtherJet ISA Adapter bracket (see Figure 5-1 on
page 5-2).
The value of the locally administered address must be
unique among the addresses on the network and contain 12
hexadecimal digits.
Default value: Universally administered address
Valid values: x2xxxxxxxxxx, x6xxxxxxxxxx, xAxxxxxxxxxx,
or xExxxxxxxxxx, immediately followed by L. For
example:
