3.3 Setting of Position Data

4) Acceleration [G] ꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏ Set the acceleration at start.
5) Deceleration [G] ꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏ Set the deceleration at stop.
(Reference) How to set the acceleration is described below. The same idea
can be applied to the deceleration.

Caution : (1) Set the speed, acceleration and deceleration so that they do not
exceed the rating values described in the brochure or the catalog
or instruction manual of the actuator. The setting that exceeds the
rated acceleration/deceleration speed may shorten the actuator
life remarkably.
(2) Consider to lower the acceleration/deceleration speed when a
shock or vibration is applied to the actuator or work. In such
cases, do not continue the use of the actuator, otherwise the
product life may be shortened extremely fast.
(3) If the payload is extremely lighter than the rated payload,
increase acceleration/deceleration to larger than their rated
values to shorten the takt time. Contact our company. At that
time, inform us of the work piece weight, profile, way to attach
and the installation condition of the actuator.
6) Pressing [%] ꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏ Set a value here and the pressing operation is available. Set a
pressing torque (limit current value) in %. If the value is set to 0, the
normal positioning operation is performed.
The speed for the pressing operation is set in Parameter No.34. If
the setting of 3) is lower than the pressing velocity, the pressing
process will be conducted with the velocity of 3).
Caution : If the pressing velocity is changed, the pressing force may differ
from that specified in 6.1 Appendix Specifications of Actuator.
When the pressing velocity is changed, make sure to measure the
actual pressing force before start using
7) Threshold [%]ꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏꞏ Set the pressing torque in % for the pressing.
The detection signal is output when the torque (load current) has
exceeded the value of this setting during the pressing operation.
This function is used when judge the movement whether it is good
or not by monitoring the load current in the process of press-fitting
with the pressing operation.
