Connect the power plug of the LAN switch.

Step 8

Check that the new LAN switch is working properly.

If the PWR1, PWR2, and SYS indicators of the LAN switch are on after power-on, the LAN switch is
working properly.

Dispose of the removed LAN switch that is confirmed faulty.

5.3.11 Replacing the ECC500 Collector

Prerequisites



An ECC500 collector needs to be replaced.



A spare ECC500 collector of the same model is available and functional.

Impact on the System

The monitoring of the corresponding area is interrupted.
