Terminals on the heat detector base
Terminal definitions (no polarity, two-wire)
1: L2 (connected to the common terminal)
2: L1 (connected to a lower-level device)
3: L1 (connected to an upper-level device)
4: reserved
Step 3
Align the heat detector indicator with B on the base, insert the detector into the base, and turn
it clockwise until the detector snaps into position.
Step 4
Power on the fire control panel after verifying that the new detector is installed and connected
properly.
Step 5
Check whether the new heat detector is working properly.

Follow-up Procedure
Dispose of the removed heat detector that is confirmed faulty.
5.4.3 Replacing a Gas Release Indicator
Prerequisites
A gas release indicator is faulty.
A spare gas release indicator of the same model is available and functional.
