Scenario

Changing Rules for Automatic Continuous Presence
Modes

Voice activation is enabled
during the conference.

The video of the site with the highest volume will be displayed
in the position indicated by ①.

l

If the video of the site with the highest volume is displayed
in a position other than that indicated by ①, the site will
exchange the position with the site whose video is displayed
in the position indicated by ① and the positions of other
sites will remain unchanged.

l

If the video is not displayed in any position, the video of
the site with the highest volume will be displayed in the
position indicated by ① and the video originally displayed
in the position indicated by ① will replace the video of the
site that has not been given the floor for the longest time. If
multiple sites have not been given the floor, the video
originally displayed in the position indicated by ① will
replace the video of the site that has been in the conference
for the shortest time.

 

Canceling the Automatic Continuous Presence

The chair site can cancel the automatic continuous presence mode by manually setting the
continuous presence, broadcasting the continuous presence, or specifying a site broadcasting
mode.

Setting and Viewing Continuous Presence from a Participating Site

The built-in MCU of the HUAWEI VP9039A, the HUAWEI VP9036S, and the ViewPoint
9039S support the function of setting and viewing continuous presence from a participating site.
The built-in MCUs of other terminal models do not support this function.

If you use the built-in MCU of the HUAWEI VP9039A, the HUAWEI VP9036S, and the
ViewPoint 9039S to hold a conference, a user at any participating site can set and view
continuous presence after the conference starts. Note that:

HUAWEI VP9039A (ViewPoint 9039S):

–

A maximum of three sites whose video resolution is 720p 50 Hz or 720p 60 Hz can
participate in one conference simultaneously.

–

A maximum of six sites whose video resolution is 720p 25 Hz or 720p 30 Hz can
participate in one conference simultaneously.

l

HUAWEI VP9036S:

–

A maximum of three sites whose video resolution is 720p 50 Hz or 720p 60 Hz can
participate in one conference simultaneously.

–

A maximum of four sites whose video resolution is 720p 25 Hz or 720p 30 Hz can
participate in one conference simultaneously.
