6.25 Locking a Conference

After a conference is locked, a site that is not in the conference cannot join the conference.

If the built-in MCU of a terminal is used during a conference, using the

Lock conference

operation on the terminal whose built-in MCU is being used will prevent additional unwanted
sites from joining the conference.

NOTE

A conference held using cascaded built-in MCUs does not support conference locking.

6.26 Restoring Automatic Continuous Presence

After

Restore Auto Continuous Presence

is selected, the terminal automatically generates

continuous presence. The layout is determined by the continuous presence and adaptation
capabilities of the built-in MCU and the number of sites in the conference.

Automatic continuous presence has four modes: 4 panes, 6 panes, 8 panes, and 9 panes, as listed
in

Table 5-4
