5.4.2 Displaying HD Video
To receive HD video from a remote site, perform the following operations:
Context
It is recommended that you use an HD monitor with a 16:9 liquid crystal display (LCD) to display
the HD video. The system can automatically detect the monitor which is connected to the
terminal.
Whether the video is displayed with an aspect ratio of 4:3 or 16:9 depends on the video protocol
and the setting of the video resolution. If the local site needs to display the 4:3 video from a
remote site on the monitor with a 16:9 LCD, the terminal adjusts the video without distorting it.
Black borders may exist at the four sides after the terminal adjusts the video so as not to affect
the viewing experience.
Procedure
Step 1
Connect the terminal to an HD monitor (the recommended interface being HD OUT 1).
Step 2
Choose
Settings
>
Video
>
Video Output
, and then set the video resolution for the HD OUT
interface and configure the interface to output remote video.
