 Remote login parameters

Parameter

Description

Web Login

Web Login

When enabled, this function allows remote users to log in
to the terminal web interface to manage the terminal.

Administrator name
Current password
New password
Confirm password

This specifies the administrator user name and password
used to log in to the terminal web interface. Use a string
comprising uppercase and lowercase letters and digits for
both.
The user name can contain a maximum of 128 characters,
and the password can contain a maximum of 32 characters.
The user name cannot be left blank and is case sensitive.

SSL encryption

When Security Socket Layer (SSL) encryption is enabled,
the touch panel must use Hypertext Transfer Protocol
Secure (HHTPS) to connect to the terminal.
SSL encryption protects against the data interception during
transmission. Enable this function if the transmitted data is
confidential.

Monitor Video

CAUTION

This function involves privacy protection. Ensure that its use
complies with local laws and regulations.

When this function is enabled, remote users can log in to
the terminal web interface to view local and remote videos
and presentations and take pictures. For details, see 

10.4.12

Taking Photos

. By default, this function is disabled on the

terminal.

Telnet Login

Telnet login

When enabled, this function allows for login using Telnet
after which users can query system status and logs to
maintain the terminal.
By default, the user name and password used for Telnet
logins are both 

debug

.

Keep your password secret to prevent unauthorized login.

CAUTION

If your computer to telnet to the terminal runs Linux, specify the
telnet port on the terminal by running 

telnet terminal IP address
