Span calibration procedure
Pouring a standard liquid
1.
Close the sample valve, and open the drain valve to discharge samples from the
turbidity detector.
2.
Detach the cleaner and wash the cell.
3.
Wash the inside of the cell of the turbidity detector adequately.
4.
Prepare 200 mL of a span calibration liquid.
5.
Pour the span calibration liquid into the cell from the top of the cell, and wash the
cell together.
6.
Pour a span calibration liquid into the cell from the top of the cell again, and wait
for air bubbles to disappear.
Place the converter in the Span Calibration mode.
1.
From the Meas. mode, hold down the CAL key, and press the key to display the
span calibration screen.
2.
Press the ENT key to display the span coefficient input screen.
3.
Adjust a coefficient so that a turbidity of the span calibration liquid matches the
display of the converter.
The numerical value blinks while a span coefficient is entered.
After the coefficient is confirmed, return to the Span Calibration mode.
4.
Press the ESC key to return to the Meas. mode.
