Checking the zero calibration data
On the Calibration Data Check screen, checks can be made of the amount of transmitted light
for zero calibration and the number of days elapsed since the date of the last zero calibration.
A check of the amount of transmitted light makes a comparison with the initial amount of
transmitted light. It is assumed that fluctuations in the amount of light are attributable to either
the deterioration of light sources, the influence of temperature, and dirt on cell. The default
(initialization) value is the factory-adjusted amount of transmitted light. The default value is
updated each time zero calibration is performed.

Procedure for checking the calibration data
1.
Put the converter into the calibration data check screen.
From the Meas. mode, press the / to display "CAL.dAt".
2.
Check the amount of light for zero calibration.
3.
Check the number of days elapsed.
Note
The fluctuations in the amount of light from a light source over elapsed time is about 5% to 10% per
year. If the amount of light from any of the two light sources has decreased to the level of 40%
of less
of the initial amount of light, an error announcement about a decrease in the amount of light will be
made. It is presumed that the amount of light from a light source may decrease to a level of 40% or
less over a period of 10 years or more because the deterioration of a light source is not linear. It is
judged that other causes may exist if an error occurs in several years.
