Method of using the overflow tank
If an overflow tank is used for the SS measurement of drain water, lead a flow of samples to
the overflow tank installed above the turbidity detector, and then lead a flow of the samples
filtered with a rough mesh to the turbidity detector. Lead a flow of samples transverse at the
sample inlet so that any samples can be prevented from splashing out due to the inflow force.
Regulate sampling flow rate and sample flow rate so that a flow of samples reaches the
overflow surface. Regulate the sample flow rate to prevent the introduction of air bubbles into
the sample outlet.
