Note
If you are downloading the system configuration settings, Internet Explorer
may block sites from downloading files to your computer. To download the
file, right-click the Information Bar and click
Download File.…

In the Save As window, navigate to the removable media drive on the server.

Highlight the drive, then click
Open
. The Save As window displays the name of the
file, which you can rename if desired.

Click
Save
. The Download complete window appears. Click
Close
.
Note
If you are burning system settings to a disk, the backup file is in a Windows
staging area ready for you to initiate the burn process. Open Windows Explorer
and navigate to the CD/DVD-RW drive. Right-click the CD/DVD-RW drive,
then select ‘Burn to disc’.
To restore the Control Panel settings:
1.
From the System Control screen, click
Restore.
The Choose File to Upload window
appears.
Note
You have the option of uploading the settings file from a variety of removable
media or a secure share drive.
2.
Navigate to the configuration settings file (CADConfigInfo.zip) and click
Open
. The
Restore window appears.
3.
Click
OK
. The restore process may take a few moments. When process is complete,
the system displays another Restore window informing you that the system settings
have been successfully restored. Click
OK
.
Note
After you restore system settings, be sure to check the Control Panel’s System
Settings screens to verify that the restored settings are correct.
