4.3 Backing Up and Restoring the Server Settings
The Settings section of the System Control screen includes all system configuration
parameters set with the Control Panel when you install the server. By backing up the
settings to the server, you will make it possible to restore the system configuration
quickly if it is necessary to reinstall the application later.
If you are configuring a redundant server, review the information in
on page 79.
Note
A backup can be restored only to the same Cenova software version.
You have the option to download the system settings to removable media or a share
drive, as shown below in the instructions, ‘To back up the Control Panel settings‘. You
can also use the Cenova server’s CD/DVD recording feature under Microsoft Windows to
burn the system settings to a CD-RW (see step 6 below). Whatever you decide, you
must
ensure
that the removable media or file is stored in a secure location and available when
needed.
To back up the Control Panel settings:

System Control
. The System Control screen appears:

Backup
. The File Download window appears.

Click
Save
. The Save As window appears.
