Provision the Configuration Files
Once you have named the NetWave signals and set up any Dual Router faders, the new settings require the
system configuration files to be updated by Provisioning (or updating) configuration files. Perform these
steps:
1.
At the bottom of the Community Explorer pane, click the Provisioning tab (Figure 4-9) to view the
Provisioning window (Figure 4-10). There are only two buttons at the top of the provisioning pane:
Provision and Distribute.
Note: If you have made any changes to VMCC since the last Provisioning, the Distribute button is
disabled.

2.
Click Provision to create new configuration files using the parameters entered in the edit pane for the
NetWave console and its Dual Router panels. This action modifies the console’s parent device
configuration files to add the new information just entered in the Community Explorer edit panes. No
files are actually sent to the console, since its configuration date is in its parent device’s configuration
files.
3.
To view a configuration file in the Provision Editor pane, perform these steps:
a.
Click + next to the parent device name in the left pane.
b.
Click the file name (such as Local Publish in Figure 4-10) to view the file in the Provision Editor
pane.
