Section 6 – NetWave Accessories

Harris Broadcast PR&E offers a number of accessories and services to complement the NetWave console.

Here are some PR&E products compatible with the NetWave console:

VistaMax, Envoy, and VMConnect card frames, used to network the NetWave console and other Harris

Broadcast PR&E consoles together into a facility-wide audio and logic control network

●

The 16x2 MicroRouter and Dual Selector, for standalone NetWave consoles, to add sixteen additional

analog or digital sources to the two fader channels on any Dual Fader panel

●

The 4X-A2D converter, a four-way A/D converter to allow four analog peripherals to connect to four

digital inputs for any NetWave console needing more local analog inputs

●

Host and guest mic control panels and two cabinet plate sizes to mount on a countertop

●

Various illuminated peripheral control panels for turret or countertop mounting

●

A 3x6 Headphone Distribution System using CAT-5 cabling with guest and host headphone jack panels

Harris Broadcast PR&E services range from supplying logic wiring diagrams for common peripheral devices

and system installation advice, to various pre-wire kits (with MOD IV connectors on one end to pigtails on

the other end) with wire labels and enough male and female XLR connectors to wire up all inputs and

outputs on a console, to complete system wiring design and installation packages. Contact your Harris

Furniture and System Design

Harris Broadcast PR&E offers a full line of standard, knock-down style cabinets and custom furniture

specifically designed to integrate the NetWave console with studio peripheral equipment. Complete turnkey

studio design, wiring, and installation services are also available. Contact your Harris Broadcast sales

representative for additional information.

Accessory Panels

Various accessory panels are available to maintain the console’s look and feel throughout the control room

and studio. Each accessory panel is 6" long and either 1.6" or 3.2" wide. Single width panels (1.6" x 6"

panels) include host and guest mic control panels, host and guest headphone jack panels, and several types

of peripheral control panels. Dual width panels (3.2" x 6") include the VistaMax Intercom Audio Expansion

Panel.
Accessory panels can be installed in a Harris Broadcast PR&E Host Turret or in a Harris Broadcast PR&E

Cabinet Plate, which is a countertop bezel. Cabinet Plates (Figure 6-1) are available in two sizes to that hold

one single width panel (PRE99-1788-1) or two single or one dual width panel (PRE99-1788-2).
