In the Community Explorer pane, click + next to the parent device name to expand the parent
device.

Click + next to the Edge Devices.

Click the Dual Router panel name to show its settings in the edit pane.

At Parent Device in the edit pane, click to select the NetWave console that this panel is installed in
(such as PROD_1 in Figure 4-7).
After you define all Dual Router processor cards as Dual Router panels, reopen the VMCC community for the
processor cards to appear under their own consoles instead of under the consoles’ parent devices. Perform
these steps:
1.
In VMCC 2.2, click Community | Open Community, or click File | Open Community in earlier
versions of VMCC.
2.
Click your community’s name to open the community. In the Community Explorer pane, each Dual
Router panel now appears under its parent device (such as PROD_1).
3.
To confirm a panel is ready to be “bound” to the Dual Fader channel slots where each panel is physically
installed (Figure 4-8), perform these steps:
a.
Click + next to the NetWave console name.
b.
Click + next to Dual Routers. Any Dual Router panel that appears in the Community Explorer
pane is ready to be “bound.” In Figure 4-8, the Dual Router is in the middle of the console (Fader 13
& 14).

In the Community Explorer pane, click the appropriate Fader name (Fader 13 & 14 in Figure 4-8) to
view its settings in the edit pane.
5.
There may be more than one Dual Router panel, so select the proper Dual Router panel name
(Z_AIR_1314 in this example) from the Bind to Router drop-down list in the edit pane.
