The 4X-A2D converter is also available with two wiring kits:  
●

 

PRE99-1430-1 – Includes four three-foot-long MOD IV patch cables to connect the 4X-A2D outputs 

directly to NetWave digital inputs. Also includes the MOD IV terminals and housings to make up the 

audio input cables. 

●

 

PRE99-1430-2 – Includes eight twenty-foot pigtail cables terminated with the three-pin and six-pin MOD 

IV connectors used on the 4X-A2D. Allows the 4X-A2D to be conveniently placed between the console 

and the four analog sources. Also allows the 4X-A2D to alternately feed other digital devices if required. 

Dual Selector Kit 

The Dual Selector Kit expands the number of audio inputs available to a standalone (non-Linked) NetWave 

console. The Dual Selector Kit (PRE99-1428-1) converts any Dual Fader panel into two source selectors for 

the Harris Broadcast PR&E 16x2 MicroRouter, a 1RU box with 16 inputs individually set for an analog or a 

digital input. It has two digital outputs that connect to the digital inputs on the two fader channels controlled 

by the Dual Selector panel. Each fader channel on the Dual Selector panel can then choose between the 16 

selector inputs and the fader’s own local analog input. This choice is made by name, since the upgrade kit 

adds a 10-character signal name display to each fader. 

Link Activation Kits 

To integrate a NetWave console into a VistaMax audio management system requires that a Link Activation 

kit be installed. Each kit activates the VistaMax Link connection on the rear panel of the console allowing 

signals to be routed to/from the console to an Envoy, VistaMax, or VMConnect card frame. The Link 

Activation kit product number is PRE99-1425. The Link Plus Activation kit, which also adds the ability to have 

six Telco channels, is product number PRE99-1426. 

Dual Router Kit 

On NetWave consoles with a Link or Link Plus Activation kit installed, any Dual Fader panel can be upgraded 

using a Dual Router upgrade kit (PRE99-1424). This kit adds two 10-character displays and VistaMax source 

selection to a Dual Fader panel. If desired, you can have multiple Dual Router kits installed for maximum 

signal source selection flexibility. 

NetWave Toolkit 

An optional NetWave Tool Kit (PRE76-1901) contains a ratcheting AMP MOD IV crimp tool, an AMP MOD IV 

extraction tool, and a 2mm hex driver (for fader and panel hex screws). A Harris Broadcast logo pouch is 

also included to hold the tools. Only one toolkit is required per facility, regardless of the number of consoles. 

All of these tools, except for the 2mm hex driver, are included with RMXdigital consoles and VistaMax card 

frames.
