Chapter 3 Installation and Wiring
3.1 Installation Environment

Ambient temperature is in the range of -10
℃
~ 40

Drive should be installed on surface of flame retardant object, w ith adequate surrounding
space for heat dissipation.

Installation should be performed w here vibration is less than 5.9m/s
2
(0.6g).

Protect from moisture and direct sunlight.

Protect the cooling fan by avoiding oil, dust and metal particles.

Do not expose to an atmosphere w ith flammable gases, corrosive gases, explosive gases
or other harmful gases.

Prevent drilling residues, w ire ends and screw s falling into drive.

）
Ventilation part of the drive should be installed outside from harsh environment (e.g. textile
facilities w ith fiber particles and chemical facilities filled w ith corrosive gases.
3.2 Minimum Mounting Clearances
To ensure favorable heat dissipation, mount the drive upright on a flat, vertical and level surface
as per Fig. 3.1. For installation inside cabinet, the product shall be mounted side by side to the
greatest extent w hile adequate surrounding space shall be preserved for favorable heat
dissipation.
