Toner Transport
Each toner attraction pump # has the following mechanism.
The pump (toner attraction pump) [A], which consists of the toner supply clutch [B],
rubber tube [C], and a rotor [D], attracts the toner in the toner transport tube [E]
toward the development unit.
The toner supply clutch drives the rotor, which draws the toner in from the cartridge
and passes it to the development unit. Each time the clutch comes on to supply
toner, it turns on for 0.7 s and off for 1.3 s. The number of times that the clutch
turns on depends on the amount of toner to be supplied, which depends on the
results of toner supply control.
Motor drive comes from the development drive motors.
