If a malfunction is
identified during this
system test, the
corresponding message
appears in the screen,
including the according
failure code. For details
of error messages refer
to section 5.3.2
“Messages during
system test”.
After having passed the
system test, the system
prompts the user to
open the y-piece, to
allow testing for
inspiratory resistance.
Disconnect the y-piece
from the sealer. The
system will recognize
opening the y- piece
automatically and then
proceeds with the test.
After calculating the
inspiratory resistance,
the Centiva/5 Plus CC
ventilator will display the
measured data in the
screen.
