Wipe off excess oil from the pump head

Maintenance interval

During the first months of use it is normal that excess oil leaks out of the drain hole below
the System pump. The function of the pump is not in any way affected by this.

Required material

The following materials are required:

•

Cloth

•

Mild cleaning agent or 20% ethanol

Instruction

Follow the instructions below to clean the System pumps externally.

Action

Step

Check that no run is in progress.

Switch off the instrument.

2

Wipe off the excess oil from the pump head with a damp cloth. Wipe off
stains using a mild cleaning agent or 20% ethanol.

3

Let the pump dry completely before using the instrument.
