If no valid data is stored in the keypad memory, this ERROR screen appears. (See Note below.)

If an ERROR screen appears, press the
key to reset the error condition. The screen returns to a list of copy functions.
(5) Protect
Function code data can be protected from unexpected modifications. Enable the data protection on the "Reading" screen.
To display this menu screen, press
key in Running mode to switch to Programming mode.
List of copy functions
Use
and
keys to select READ.
Memory area selection screen
Use
and
keys to select the target area (1, 2, or 3) of the keypad memory to protect data held
in that area.
To go back to a list of copy functions, press
key.
Completion screen
The memory area number and the inverter type are highlighted, indicating that the corresponding
data is protected.
To go back to a list of copy functions, press
key.
(Note) To disable the data protection, press the
key for at least five seconds in the same procedure shown above. The screen
returns to the normal state (not highlighted), indicating that the selected data is not protected.

In the process of reading, selecting protected data and pressing the
key displays the
"Protected" (indicating that the data cannot be copied) as shown at left and returns to the normal
display.
