Fuel Injection Supply Manifold
The fuel injection supply manifold is a one piece
plastic molding with holes for the fuel pressure
regulator and the fuel injectors. Sealing is
achieved by means of six O-ring seals.
Throttle Body
The throttle body is of aluminum construction with
a hole for the throttle position sensor. Sealing is
achieved by means of a gasket and an O-ring
seal.
Fuel Injectors
The fuel injectors are of the top feed type. They
are activated sequentially by the powertrain
control module (PCM), which modifies fuelling by
adjusting the fuel injector opening times
according to engine operating conditions. Sealing
is achieved by means of upper and lower O-ring
seals.
