spring or rear leaf spring
• CHECK the coil / leaf springs.
REFER to Section 204-01.(front).
• Incorrect tyre pressures.
• ADJUST the tyre pressures.
• Poor riding comfort
• Weak front or rear leaf spring.
• CHECK the coil / leaf springs.
REFER to Section 204-01.(front).
• Damaged or worn front or rear
suspension unit(s).
• CHECK the suspension units.
REFER to Section 204-01.(front).
• General drive instability
• Wheel, tyre imbalance, damage
or excessive run out.
• CHECK the tyres.
• Toe setting out of specification.
• CARRY OUT wheel alignment.
Refer to General Procedures in
this section.
• Steering system damaged or
worn.
• CHECK the steering system.
• Damaged front suspension
lower arm ball joint.
• INSTALL a new front suspen-
sion lower arm ball joint.
• Weak front coil spring / rear leaf
spring.
• CHECK the coil springs.
REFER to Section 204-01.(front).
• Damaged or worn front or rear
suspension unit(s).
• CHECK the suspension units.
REFER to Section 204-01. (front).
• Damaged, loose or worn rear
suspension, bushing or bolts.
• CHECK the rear suspension.
• Damaged or worn stabilizer bar
end bushings or connecting
links (if equipped).
• INSTALL new stabilizer bar end
bushings or connecting links.
• Steering wheel does not return
correctly
• Incorrect wheel alignment.
• CARRY OUT wheel alignment.
