Digital Video Input (CE-HEVC/BNC Option Module)
High definition digital video can be input via the 75
Ω
female BNC connector (labelled SDI 1) on the rear panel.
The remaining connectors are not currently supported for
HD video. Ultra High Definition (UHD) (4K) video
encoding uses all four SDI BNC connectors. The input
video maybe either formatted as 4 synchronized HD
quadrants or as 4 synchronized interleaved sub pictures.
The LED (labelled LOCK) next to each connector shows
the lock status of the input video signal for that connector.

The SDI input is active, but video with the wrong line standard is being received.

Digital Video Input (CE-HEVC/SFP Option Module)
High definition digital video can be input via the LC female
optical connector (labelled SDI 1) on the rear panel. Ultra
High Definition digital video can be input on the CE-HEVC
option module by using all 4 optical connections on the
rear panel. The input video maybe either formatted as 4
synchronized HD quadrants or as 4 synchronized
interleaved sub pictures. The LEDs (labelled LOCK) show
the lock status of the input video signal for that connector
.
