Loosen and remove the 2 screws inside the
maintenance cover, as shown in the illustration.
If a screw is difficult to loosen by hand, use a hex
wrench.

Align the screw holes on the printer and on
anchor B in the orientation shown in the
illustration.
When doing this, position the anchor without
tilting it. When it is positioned correctly, the
screw hole appears at the front end of the
rectangular hole in the bottom of the anchor.

Insert the screw removed in Step 5 into the hole
in the bottom part of the anchor, and lightly
tighten it.

Insert the screws removed in Step 12 into the 2
screw holes in the top part of the anchor, and
lightly tighten them.
P
Use the hex wrench to securely tighten the screws
in the order shown in the illustration.
Q
Close all the covers, and then move the front
cover's left and right lock levers inward.
R
Remove media from the Media Feeding Unit and
Auto Take-up Reel Unit.
