Perform a factory reset

Perform a factory reset

Use the Admin panel to perform a factory reset and restore the configuration of your Pearl-2 to the
manufacturer's original default settings.

Performing a factory reset erases all your input port settings (video and audio), channels,
configuration presets, network settings, all locally saved media files and recordings from Pearl-2.

Consider applying a factory default configuration preset instead if you want to preserve the
uploaded media files, configuration presets, and channel recordings, see

Configuration presets

To perform a factory reset:

1. Login to the Admin panel as

admin

, see

Connect to the Admin panel

2. From the Configuration menu, select

Maintenance

. The maintenance page opens.

3. Click the

Reset

and click

OK

when prompted.

4. The system resets to factory defaults and reboots. Wait for the system to finish rebooting before

configuring Pearl-2.
