Accessing the device-specific parameters

To access the device-specific parameters the following requirements must be met:

1.

Hardware write protection must be deactivated

Promag 55 FOUNDATION Fieldbus (BA126D).

The correct code must be entered by means of the corresponding Transducer Block in the
"Access - Code" parameter.

3.3

Parameters of the "Flow" Transducer Block

The following table shows all the Hauser-specific parameters of the "Flow" Transducer
Block. These can only be changed after entering an enabling code in the "Access - Code" parameter.

Only when the code has been entered in this parameter can the
manufacturer-specific parameters be programmed and the device
configuration modified.

You can enable programming by entering:

• Private code (

• If the write protection is enabled then access to the manufacturer-

specific parameters is blocked even if the right code is entered. Write
protection can be activated and deactivated by means of jumpers on the
I/O board (

• You can disable programming again by entering any number (other

than the access code) in this parameter.

• The Hauser service organization can be of assistance if you

mislay your private code.

• Certain parameters are not accessible unless a special service code is

entered. This service code is known only to the Hauser service
organization. Please contact your Hauser service center if you
require clarification.

• The entry made here does not affect the local display. Therefore,

programming via the function matrix must be enabled separately.
