8.2.2 P PUSHBUTTONS
Even though the cursor buttons (P buttons) have been set as contacts in the
circuit diagram, these are not activated automatically. In order to prevent
accidental actuation, the cursor buttons cannot switch until they have been
activated.
Activate the P pushbuttons in the system menu.
The P buttons are activated and deactivated via the P BUTTONS menu.

Press DEL and ALT to call up the System menu.
▶
Select the SYSTEM menu.
▶
Move the cursor to the P BUTTONS menu.
Activating P buttons
If is displaying easy800 P PUSHBUTTONS

, this means that the P
pushbuttons are active.

Otherwise select P PUSHBUTTONS and press OK.
The easy800 device chances the display to P BUTTONS

indicating that the
P buttons are activated.

Press ESC to return to the status display.
Deactivating the P pushbuttons

Select P PUSHBUTTONS

and press OK.
The tick behind P PUSHBUTTONS disappears and the P pushbuttons are
deactivated.
8.2.3 Setting the startup behavior
easy800 devices without a display can only be started in RUN mode. After
power up, the device switches directly to RUN mode if it contains a valid
circuit diagram.

If easy800 is protected with a password, you must remove
password protection before you can call the system menu.

The P pushbuttons are only active in the status display and the
text display. In this display you can use the P buttons to activate
inputs in your circuit diagram.

The P buttons are automatically deactivated if you load a circuit
diagram from the memory card or via easySoft-Pro onto the
easy800 device or if you are deleting a circuit diagram in the
easy800 device.
