The counter input of the function block CH03 is already permanently
connected to device input I3. The coils of the function block are connected
directly to the device inputs. The coils of the function block are connected
directly here to the device inputs.

The contacts of the function block are connected to the device outputs and a
marker.
Parametric programming of the function block inputs/outputs
When using the function block in the circuit diagram for the first time, use
OK to automatically enter the general display of function block parameters,
as shown in the figure on the left. Enter the function block settings here.
The display contains the following elements:

Avoid unforeseeable switch states:
•
Only use each function block coil once in the circuit diagram.
•
If you use one of the inputs I1, I2, I3 or I4 as a counter input
for the counter function block CF, CH or CI, they cannot be
used for other purposes.
If an input I1…I4 is used several times, only the high-speed
counter is run that is positioned last in the order of
processing in the function block diagram
